This first page is for the scraplift challenge.
The kit used is Fruit and Veggies: Yummy in Tummy
My sweet little guy got his first taste of corn on the cob, Yummy!
This page uses a kit called The Boy from Scrappin Serenity
I did this page for the Font Challenge. The font this month is Pea Dain Michaels.
This page was created using Sunny Side Up! by Chelle's Creations.
It was done for a speed scrap. If you haven't done a speed scrap you should. Speed scraps are fun and fast. The person leading gives out an instruction every 10 minutes for you to put on your page. I have really been stretched outside my comfort zone and learned a lot.
TOES!! Aren't they cute! The kit here is Shine by Snowlady Designs
The Challenge of the week last week at STS was to do an acrostic. I had a hard time coming up with an idea at first but when feeding my 11 month old this came to mind as he stuck his feet in my face. He loves to have his toes tickled.
Another challenging challenge at STS is the Word of the Week. Last week's word was break. I scrapped a picture of my little heartbreaker covered in baby cereal. This page uses The Boy kit again.
Another Speed Scrap! This page uses a kit called Something Fishy by Chelle's Creations. I love this kit for my Aquarium and Sea World pictures. My little guy makes this funny face (no words or sounds) when he is excited. It is too funny to watch his reaction as the fish swim by him.
The final page I am going to share with you is a Template Challenge. The template was supplied by Jensen Motley Crew. The kit I used was Backyard fun by Growing Pains Scrapped. This was a definite challenge for me. I use and LOVE Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio. It is an amazing program with a lot of amazing features but they don't accept outside templates. I had to do this page in Photoshop Elements and I am not that familiar with the program. I am slowly learning and loving working with templates.
I scraplifted the idea for this page from another awesome scrapper. You can see her page here. After seeing her page I knew I had to capture this memory. My first little guy out grew his car seat quickly but my second son is a peanut compared to his brother plus we bought the bigger carseat in preparation for him being big like his brother. It is so cool to see how much he has grown. He was 10 days old when we brought him home, so tiny!
If you are stuck in a rut for ideas or just want to be challenge then head on over to Stuff to Scrap and check out the challenges for the month...they are a lot of fun!
Happy Scrapping!
