Things that Go!

Or toddlers that go....Go, Go, Go is a common phrase said by my youngest son along with shoes!  He is constantly on the go and he is a boy that loves cars and trucks.  HD Creations newest digital scrapbooking kit: Things That Go is perfect for him and his on the go personality.  It is full of cars, trucks, signs, arrows and bright bold colors.

Here are two pages I created using this kit.  I had a lot of fun.  This first layout is of my boys as Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

I took these pictures with this kit in mind.  My youngest son, Tater Tot loves to sit on this dump truck and scoot around even though it is not a riding toy.  It also sings a fun song "To the Dump" and he dances and laughs, very cute!

There is also a fun add on for those girly girls that like things that go as well.

Serenity

Designs by Snowlady has a new kit out today: Serenity.  This kit is perfect for your everyday photos or special photos such as a wedding. The kit includes 21 papers and 40 elements. You can also pick up some quick pages here.

Need some help creating your layouts? Here are some layered templates for you. Just clip your papers and photos to the templates for a great start to your layout. You can delete the parts you don't want to use and add your own embellishments. The templates can be resized to create brag book pages as well. The set include 5 Clip It Up Templates with psd, png, and tif files for each. Commercial Use friendly!

Here is a fun page I created for the Template Challenge at Stuff to Scrap.  The template is by 3 Lil Monsters.

This second page uses the clip it up templates and was created for the weekly challenge at Scrap-N-Pieces.  The challenge was the font Quilline Script Thin.

Tater Tot Cuteness!

I have the most adorable 13 month old little boy and it makes scrapping so much fun!  Yesterday I was able to participate in not one but two speed scraps.  I love speed scraps because they challenge me to try new things and help me get pages done.  It is fun to see how differently everyone interprets a speed scraps instructions.

The first page I did was at Stuff to Scrap...I had some super cute pictures of Tater Tot eating a piece of fried chicken.  I used the lyrics from the Zack Brown Band's song "Chicken Fried"  I used the EIEIO Kit from Chelle's Creations.

The second page I did was at Gotta Pixel with Connie Prince.  I also used the page for Stuff to Scrap's Font Challenge as well.  For this page I used pictures of Tater Tot "sneaking" around.  He has been copying his brother's actions and it is a hoot to watch.  For this page I used 3 Lil' Monster's My Dear Watson Kit and some buttons and stitching from Stampin' Up!  I recolored the buttons a bit to make them match the kit more.  The font I used for the challenge is Stampede and it is part of the title.  I will have to work on my first tutorial to show you how I did it....stay tuned

Magical Christmas

I have been hanging out at Mousescrappers and speed scrapping...it is CrAzY over there!!  Keystone Scraps is giving away a fun Monster kit this weekend...there are two more scraps tomorrow.  I have done three speed scraps so far this weekend and I wanted to share one of them with you.

The hidden red Mickey is from Kayla at Geekery Scraps and the Santa Mickey is clip art I found online

This is a Christmas Ornament my family picked up in Disney.  If you have not been to Walt Disney World at Christmas time....wow!  It is so magical and awesome and the weather is great too!

What I have been working on lately....

Here are a few pages I have completed for challenges or just for fun over at Stuff to Scrap....

The Hybrid Challenge was to create a chore chart or schedule and print it out.  I have this one printed out and am going to laminate it for French Fry to check off his weekly chores.  This chart uses templates and elements from the All Done Kit by 3 Lil' Monster's Designs

This page I did for the color challenge.  I used the Here Comes Trouble Mini by Scraps by Andrea

This page is for the Use it or Lose It Challenge.  You are given a mini kit, this one is Softly Add on by Adriana's Cafe, and then you have to use all the parts on your page and nothing else unless it comes from the bigger kit.  

Each week Stuff to Scrap has a COW (Challenge of the Week).  Last week the challenge was to scan something and scrap it.  I had this cute little hand print ghost from my oldest son and it was starting to fade some.  I also had the little 6x6 page that is on this page that I tried to duplicate.  I realized that I need Halloween kits once I scrapped this page so this page will be redone.  I will post the new one once I do.  The things I used were a mixed bag of items used....most is Stampin' Up! Spider and Trick or Treat are unknown freebies, Star Scatter is from the Fairy Tale Kit Collab at STS.

This week's COW was to scrap a birthday or anniversary.  We had just celebrated Tater Tot's birthday so I decided to do a page of his amazing cake.  I used Lovely Creations' Sweetness kit.  The colors match his elephant perfectly!!

 Here are a couple of pictures from the party decorations that were done digitally.  First is pictures of Tater Tot that we took each month.  I made a frame around each picture with the month of his age.

Next we did framed art using Lovely Creation's Sweetness kit.  I printed them off on my own printer and then put them into dollar store frames...easy art!

This uses the kit Keep the Faith by Scrappin Serenity.  I designed this for a cover to a journal that I ordered from Shutterfly.  I plan to use this journal for my 1000 Gifts project.  1000 Gifts is an amazing book by Ann Voskamp.  It is a great reminder of all the small things we have to be thankful for in our lives.  I can't wait till the journal gets here.  I will try to remember to take a picture of it and post it once it is done.

Lastly is last night's speed scrap.  Becky of B2N2 Designs was our amazing host and I learned so much!  Check out the cut outs in the paper...I learned how to do that last night.  :)  I love the speed scraps and how different everyone's pages turn out.  Head on over to Stuff to Scrap Speed Scrap Gallery and leave some love for the other ladies.  The kit I used here is Down by the Lily Pad by Scrappin Serenity.
